Another great thing to do in Beijing!

So.. had to go and do this, go trampolining one more time before I left.

Check it out:

Go to Latitude! It’s an Aussie concept so you know it’s good! And adheres to safety standards! (Opens in a new tab)

I also pretty much got to spend the day with a good friend, Maxime.  We worked on the website.. check out its new cool look, as compared to the layout we had before. [screenshot]

Put in many cool functions, and improved the general feel of the whole site.

And the yep trampolining.

I invited a friend to come with us, and I knew in fact think she would have a lot of fun, but she’s Chinese and like all of the Chinese people here….who are not children, they think that this place is solely FOR children.

So if it’s for children, in their mind… they can’t possibly participate.

Let me assure you, it’s not JUST meant for children. Plus, if it’s fun… it doesn’t matter what other people think…just do whatever the hell you want..

“Sir, I reserve the right to do whatever the fuck I want”

Plus when a lot of the parents saw us there bouncing and doing many tricks, they were all taking photos, and looking on with envy.  Well why don’t you get down here perhaps?

So yep, it’s difficult to take pictures, but this is the 3rd time I’ve been and its always so much fun!

We went with Matt an almost professional trampolining ..dude, Lee… the guy that helps run the drunken pub quiz at the Brick, and another guy whose name I can’t remember.  And then Maxime and a bunch of his friends that were visiting.

I’ve got a few pictures and a few videos… but its very difficult to do it justice.

Lee was crazy, he has absolutely no fear, he just thinks it and does it. He mastered a front flip, and then a back flip within about 20 mins.

Anyway, for those of you looking to get there  here’s the main details:

And here’s the map just in case you need

The price is something like 138 for the 1st hour and then 68 for each hour after that.  So we normally do 2 hours.

However I have to stress, you may think it’s just bouncing, but after 20 mins you are exhausted.  And after 2 hours… if you make it to 2 hours… you can hardly move.

Tip. Bring a 1.5 litre bottle of water with you, you’ll need it.

I really think my friend missed out.  You don’t know you don’t like something until you actually try it… well… that can be argued pretty easily, but I still would have liked her to try.
